Join a Watershed Partnership

Our region is water rich, with its streams often blessed with parks and active citizens who work to preserve their watershed's natural areas. The PWD has many exciting projects taking place in our regions watersheds, including the development of watershed wide management plans to protect, enhance, and restore the beneficial uses of our watersheds' waterways and riparian areas. In addition, habitat restoration, stormwater management and scheduled stream and park clean ups with partners such as the Fairmount Park Commission, are ongoing. What can you do to improve your watershed? Become active in Watershed Partnership. You can make a difference in the quality and health of your stream and park.
